Found a leftover Escort GT wheel from a prior ownership. I assume we sold it with at least 5. I called them "hotwheels" even though it's the wrong number of bits.
A vestige of taking a stock Escort and 'GT-izing it. Lots of blackout chrome. The decals. That goofy spoiler. Medium desert tan. 80's.
A reminder that yeah, I don't take the missing options too seriously. Upgraded that base model to about mid LTD with every option I could find in the junkyard, looked stock except for that rear seat. That would be your only clue.
I expect if forms part of a Chinese fridge chassis these days.
Had to sell it for some complicated reasons, but we never said it was a GT.
